Well Mozarts Requiem isn't complex nor technically difficult really, even though I really find it beautiful. Most Dragonforce's records have a lot more of technicality and complexity, so does that mean that their music is objectively better?

Someone touched on how Jimmy Page lacked integrity and ripped other artists. That's not cool and if someone says Zeppelin is overrated I couldn't argue although is one of my favorite bands.

The point is this. You can put Jimmy Page by himself to play for 2 hours I'm sure he'll give a hell of a show because he is naturally talented, no question.

We understand music is entertainment and/or art but even if someone like Lady Gaga relies on huge montages and shows to entertain what makes her credible is that she can still do great on her own without all of that stuff.

An artist can be stripped from production and visuals and s(he) would still have something to offer because there's an inherent proficiency on some instrument or vocals, or even poetry if there's nothing left. If you rely on sets and effects instead of giving your own talent or applying your own knowledge then you are not an artist, it is plain and simple.

That's the way I can objectify it at this point. Subjectively, I say Nicki Minaj sounds like shit and everything she ever does is emetic. The videos are horrible and the lyrics are aimed at ignorant spoiled teens.
