Didn't hit me as hard too but it's grown on me ever since. It's probably second best song now, behind the last track

Fair enough, I'm waiting for that moment when it hits. Trusty and True has grown on me tho

Best is The Box, with Colour Me In close behind. The title-track and Trusty & True are also up there.

meh. I'm not crazy about this tbh. I don't know he's just a bit to whiny of a singer for my taste.

Something is SO off about the way he sings 'wherever you are' at the start of 'I Don't Want To Change You'.

Does Damien hate the UK or something? He played one UK gig in 2014 and none of this 2015 dates are in the UK -_-

I know I rate a lot of albums highly (I just love music) but there's only a small handful each year that carve a permanent niche in my memory. This is one of them. Could be a classic (5.0) someday, although I'm not quite there yet.

Sometimes I reconsider this being a 5 and then I listen to it again....

Yeah...the emotion in his voice, even from the first seconds of the opening track, is so beyond anything you hear in most poppy folk records. Then the flair for epic strings and build-ups makes this like the best thing ever.

Colour Me In and The Box just stuck me on such an emotional level from the moment I heard them and they keep getting better every listen.

It Takes A Lot To Know A Man alone is worth the 5 for me
