Spot on review. I was hoping that this would be their "Close to the Edge".

Fuck this album. This sound just doesn't work for them.

Hard to fault a band that gave me 10 years worth of great music but I'm gonna go back to pretending that these recent albums don't exist.

quality musicianship as always but brutally average approach, even if there are a couple standout tracks/moments

Anyone else receive the box set in mail today? Surround sound mix is great. However, the Akerfeldt commentary isn't available yet to download...irritating.

I personally think the songs listed in the review are their weakest. The Intro to Moon Above, Sun
Below is really catchy, as the rest of the song. I also believe River is the most well thought out
song on the album. Even though it's not the Opeth you know and love, it's still has some
impressive moments that you don't even mention. It
almost kinda seems like you haven't even really listened to the album that much because the
details are several lacking from both sides (especially the positives), as if you are biased.

Voice of treason might just be my favourite on here and progresses epically into faith in others

All reviews are biased, unless you write just facts which would be exceedingly dull.
