viva is still their best by far

This and Viva are their two best. Parachutes would be too if the songwriting was a little more interesting than it is, and X&Y if the lyrics were better and some of the songs less cheesy. Basically their first four are very good and everything afterward goes downhill.

I pretty much agree about Mylo and Ghost Stories. But I prefer X&Y to both; 8-10 of the 13 songs are at least decent, if not great. The main problem is the lyrics, but those get even worse on Mylo, Ghost Stories, and the new one.

I like the songs too but I can't really enjoy them the same way I enjoy the rest of the albums, cause there's a lot of nostalgia attached to hearing those singles so much throughout my childhood.
