Chevelle, being #3 on the billboard isn't just a high number, it's a sign that rock music is still alive. These guys are straight-up carrying the torch for an entire genre, and the BEST genre at that. They didn't do it by changing their sound to suit the times either, they did it by staying true. That's incredible. This is a monumental achievement, and these guys deserve all the praise they've gotten.
That's not to say other bands haven't made equally amazing albums, but Chevelle has shaken things the fuck up with this one. Truly awesome.
