It's just not as groundbreaking or definitive as the self-titled, which I see as a 5. Not really any fault of the band (how do you break the same ground twice?), but that's sort of how I see it.

It's really heavy but not needlessly so, in any manner. I was thinking about reviewing it myself also.

i love how this mishmashes genres. some of it is groovy and soulful as fuck (seriously, physical education is fucking ridiculous), where other songs are harder and metal-oriented. overall though, i'm not sure what i think when listening to it all at once. some of it is incredibly boring to me, like tooth and claw (despite having some lovely passages). going to need some time with this, i think.
