i honestly and truly dont really get hecker, and i can admit that. i like him, dont get me wrong, but any time im in the mood for ambient i never say to myself "hey, i want to listen to some tim hecker". i dont really know what it is, maybe its because his stuff is too noisy and my ears dont really like that, or the fact that most of his compositions are far to reminiscent of classical styles that dont really gel with me, but i never find myself wanting to come back to most of his stuff.
i still think haunt me is the best thing hes ever done.

I guess I'm not the biggest Hecker fan as I haven't even explored his whole discog yet, not even half, which is surprising considering how much I love ambient. I absolutely love Ravedeath though.
I do like this a lot too but surprisingly I haven't jammed it much since around the time it came out.
