"A.M. War makes more sense as a song than Nachash does imo. Better flow."

I do agree with this. If anything am war has a pretty solid structure, best thing about it probably

Nachash is great until it hits a brick wall halfway through and doesn't do anything for more than a minute. It's baffling

Nachash is alright, but the part I cant stand is where the clean vocals first come in. Such a poorly thought out melody. The "here we go" part.

The song is okay until right after the fierst "chorus."

I can't imagine that I ende up only listening to a few standout tracks for me such as We Are, Eidolon and The Refusal (didn't like the preview version, but the album version sounds so different). I've only listened to the album maybe 2-3 times in full length. Sound Awake is one of my alltime favorites but Asymmetry nearly does nothing for me. Maybe I will change my opinion after seeing the new songs live (I hope so).

That is a sacrifice that I'm about never willing to give this kind of music anymore.

it's not as if I didn't want to listen to it though, I just wasn't feeling it for a while

same thing happened with Koi No Yokan last year, it didn't really hit me, but I couldn't stop listening to it

yeah i do get that

and honestly i have listened to this thing maybe 7 times or so, and i couldn't stop listening to it either, but because of how strangely i felt about it haha. Now I doubt ill go back to it except maybe Aeons, Float and Sky Machine.

Solid review my man, a late read I know but kudos anyway. Time to get back in the loop.

Exactly, Jacob!
I was so unsure on how I felt about this for at least the first two weeks, I just had to keep playing it.

Nachash, A.M. War and Alpha Omega are the only tracks that are growers IMO. Everything is is quite immediate.

I don't know why, but I like the title track here. It's strangely hypnotic and alluring.
