I wish their live show was still as good as it was back in the day. First time I saw em back in 01 I had no idea what fucking hit me and my mind was absolutely blown. last time, not so much.

its quite simple really. they wanted to just shamelessly let their smiths influences come out (other indie and jangle pop influences as well but mainly the smiths). those smiths influences have always been there at least for davey but on crash love they just shamelessly let them fly as a band.
