Yeah i have listened to alot of Tool - Lateralus, Parabola, The Grudge - all good. Well if your looking for long songs with drumming look at dream theatre's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence which is apparantly 46 minutes long. Mike Portnoy must have been the living dead after that. Orm yabe he just did them all in 10 min seshs and combined them. Whatever, I just like that solo.

I don't know, I still like this cd. I find nothing wrong with it, but yeah the heaviness was definitely not in there like it was in the S/T. The lyrics are a little darker and it sounds like they put a little more thought into their music this time then they did in the others. I don't think that they really needed to play extremely heavy to get the points across in their songs. Either way, if Slipknot would have played like they did in their S/T then people would have complained about how they never changed, whereas they actually did try and change and people still complained. So you know they went for the change and I dont think it turned out bad, I give it a 4.5.

I disagree with the rating on Vermilion part 1. I thought that was a very strong track and one of the album's highlights.

Horrible album in my point of view. I loved Pulse of the Maggots and Duality so I decided to buy this album (since I have all the others) and I was extremely disapointed. Good review though, I agree on pretty much everything you said, good job...

Slipknot got nice stuff but it is too focus on the neo metal part so there's a part of sounds who sucks
