Emo isn't a fashion style, it's a genre of music. That's like me saying look at me I dress metal. I'm also pretty sure it didn't originate in Michigan.

Well I'm from Downriver Detroit, (Taylor to be exact) and there are people here that think 'emo' is a style, yet they have no clue on what music is all about. Just on who can keep a straight face the longest in life.
