Just buy the album maybe? Best decision ever.

They disbanded a long time ago there's no point in buying their music. Their record company is the only one who makes money from this and since they don't let people share their music and make them more popular it's a no from me

Hang on, so they don't get ANYTHING? Surely they get something. I agree with your general point about the record company, but from a selfish point of view I like to own my music & doing so makes it easier to access anytime (especially as this isn't on Spotify).
Can't it be found for download anywhere else?

There are torrents but it still sucks because more people would know them if their music was available on YT or Spotify

Plus rotten records sells the physical stuff for an extortionate amount, and yeah from what I've read the living band members get tuppence
I'm always looking to buy second hand physical copies on amazon but they're still relatively expensive, I finally bought PTT when the price dropped but it came and had a Nine Inch Nails disc inside :-(

Really? I remember getting both Acid Bath CDs relatively cheaply on Amazon, like the sort of usual price you'd expect.
Edit: yep, both albums still going cheap
|

Hmm 10 quid for pretty knackered second hand copies idk... a lot of CDs you can get on amazon for like £2, but I guess 10 is pretty standard for underground bands. Albums are sick so I'm always gonna get em eventually, just a stingy bastard so waiting for prices to fluctuate as they inevitably do on amazon

If you're buying them used, that's not particularly cheap, no. I got each of them (individually) for less than £10 brand new, so unless you're dead set against buying new copies due to the principle of the record company not making it easily available digitally, then it's available for a more than reasonable price.
I value my own selfish needs of convenience & materialism over morals & principle, haha.
|
| |
Oh yeah for me I value my wallet over morals & principles usually
It's just lucky that I get to take the moral high ground for Rotten Records charging $37 to get the CD shipped to me in the UK lol

'Rotten Records charging $37 to get the CD shipped to me in the UK'
That's insane. The UK version of Amazon sells copies for the usual price plus the standard postage, so not sure why you'd go direct in that situation anyway.
Edit: unless you're American & temporarily living in the UK? That might make more sense idk.

@Darius think apple music contains all the same music that itunes has on it (a much bigger library than spotify) and rotten records would have put it on itunes for people to pay like £8 for. Probably slipped under their radar that when apple music came in it hopped onto their streaming service, though surprising as the label is normally super anal about online/streaming content, 'specially YT
@Demon yh I just meant if rotten records sold for cheaper than amazon I'd probs put principles aside to save some cash; I'm permanently in the UK but stingy n on a student budget so never got round to buying the CDs which are more expensive than most on the site however cheaper than buying from the record label
