and it had a bit too many breakdowns in the middle of the song

New single is honestly pretty bad for this band, considering how talented we all know they are. They
can do so much better.
The good news is that it's just a stand alone song that isn't an indication of what the next album
will sound like. I sincerely hope that they don't lean in such a generic and dull direction.

First time I heard the new single I was like 'ehhhh, this is kinda lame, but it's not horrible'. Now I've played it a few more times and I really like it. I dig the groovy breakdown in the middle of the song. It took some time to grow on me like their In Wolves song.

It grew on me as well, I enjoy it. I just have higher expectations when they're concerned. When you compare that song to something like Americans it's just very underwhelming.

Aside from a few gay moments, this rips pretty fucking hard.

the gayest moment HAS to be that singing part from You Own No One but You

Yea dude, that part is pretty cringe-worthy. Also, a few of the breakdowns are pretty bland. But other than that, I dig it.
