"How people prefer IKSSE:3 to this is beyond me."

i prefer In keeping secrets to this, i feel that it just a very solid album throughout, although this is almost as good.

I just got this, listening to it as I write. I drool at the idea of concept albums, so this should satisfy me to no end. Hopefully I won't get bored like I do with a lot of punk and alt rock.

I love this album. Claudio's voice and guitar playing is so win. CoCa sends a chill down my spine whenever I pop in one of their cd's.

Favorite songs: Welcome Home, Ten Speed, Apollo I, The Suffering.

This album really surpassed my expectations, it flows together so well. My favorites include of course Welcome Home, Apollo I, and The Willing Well IV. The last four songs are all amazing though.

A modern classic.
Massively underrated by most Coheed fanboys.
Annoyingly, some people can't seem to take the fact that Claudio matured a lot when he wrote this album, and decided to make his structural tendencies more interesting.
On a par with the first 2.
Better than the 4th.

Not to mention the fact that this album is a masterclass in lyrical talent.

I really wasn't impressed with this. I'm a huge CoCa fan but if you asked me to name all of the tracks on this album, I'd be stuck after "Ten Speed". It's so...forgettable. It has some utterly amazing tracks, but a good half of the album just screams "Filler" to me. It's just so...bland.

it's hard to like a band that when you hear the singing, you burst out laughing.

The singing is good. So he has a high-pitch, so what. It doesn't make his technique worse.

My friend ruined Wake Up. Now I can't listen to it now without feeling ill.

This is the only Coheed album I own and it's great. My only beef with it is a lot of it sounds same-y but the sound they create is definately awesome. I think their slower and more proggy songs are their strength.

I love this album. The worst songs are Wake Up and Crossing The Frame.

If you enjoy this one Mediocre at Best, check out the others. All the albums have one or two progressive rock influenced tracks you may enjoy.

He serenaded his girlfriend with it. A nice idea - but from my perspective, I can't help but feel really annoyed because of my disposition towards both of them.

^You have to allow me to laugh at that. I like Wake Up. This is my fav C&C album.

You're welcome to find lulz in it.

I regularly serenade my girlfriend - but at least I don't do it seriously and pretend to be good at it like the aforementioned scenario.
