Tried listening to this a few months ago and I hate to say it, but this is a pretty gay album.

Holomovement is the best thing this band has ever done.
I liked Exoplanet, but this is just much farther ahead in terms of maturity and musical depth.
Vocalist went from near-unbearably-bad, to more than good enough. Both in cleans and harsh vocals. Especially harsh though. Also, dat bass is great.

I kinda like this album. Exoplanet had amazing moments, but was tedious at times. This is never tedious at least.

People seem to either hate or love this album.
The only big issues I had with Exoplanet was the bad harsh vocals, and the amount of breakdowns. As far as I'm concerned, they fixed these issues.
My only concern is the production. It seems a lot "lesser" than on Exoplanet.
Suprised they didn't make ANOTHER re-do of "Flourish". haha.

I loved Exoplanet's breakdowns, and I didn't hear any bad harsh vocals there. This, on the other hand, has some pretty shitty ones

Oh, I like some of the breakdowns on it. I recall actually explaining to someone how THAT is how you play a "heavy" breakdown. They just came far too often for my taste.
I suppose we disagree in our taste in harsh vocals then. Exoplanets sounded a lot more raw, but I found it very counterproductive for the space theme they were trying to convey. Too gritty and unpolished. The range was all over the place, in a bad way. The highs never hit high enough, the lows never hit low enough. The technique just didn't sound properly executted most of the time. That's not to say all of the harsh vocals were bad, but for the most part, it's what keeps me from listening to the album more.
Then again, I know friends who saw nothing wrong with them, and then friends who would refuse to listen any further because of the vocals.
The vocals here sound far more practiced. A lot more definition to them. Maybe I'm just blowing hot steam, but I've been practicing for quite a few years now, and there's just something to them that screams maturity in the execution and technique. Even the clean vocals sound more confident.
