Yeah it was back when I did this “album of the month” thing in some Facebook group years ago



Some of the choices were this, Ride the Lightning, Ultraviolence, Casualties of Cool, 2 symphonic metal albums, The Burdens of Being Upright, Spiderland, Kind of Blue, Untilted, and some others… when it was my turn I picked Rain Dogs. But yeah



The symphonic metal albums were easily the most forgettable, but I walked away liking Spiderland, Kind of Blue, and sorta liking Causalities of Cool

The first singles were kind of cool: everyone talks about “sleepyhead,” but I liked “the reeling”

@colton: check manners if you haven’t, this one is a little bland to me, but Manners has thicker, lush atmospheres that really hit
