No wonder I couldn't stand either of them.

I liked "Have a Blast", mostly because Spencer's finally listenable, the utterly shitty and unlistenable production from Periphery 1 is gone and he actually sounds half good here.

PS could anyone link me to a download?

K, already got the album.

Spencer sounds a lot like Christian Alvestam when singing clean on this album. A great thing, I'd never have thought that he sounds so good minus the terrible effects of the debut album

Yeah i never liked his singing on their debut either. But he is pretty good now, kinda. Really like his input on this album.

It must have been the pitch correction and those shitty effects that were supposed to make his voice sound electronic and whatnot (and instead made it sound unbearable)... As for the album, it's pretty sweet. Not immediately catchy, but then what prog is? Reminded me of Scar Symmetry's better years in several moments... that's probably why this album gets so much hate around here

Agreed as fuck. Still looking for a bit of time to explore this album deeper.

Oh yea, had forgotten how KILL is such a big fan of Spencer's "gurgling cum" vocals.

"froggin has some awesome growls by spencer"

Those totally caught me off guard the first time I heard them. So gnarly, he surprised me a lot on this album to be honest. I hope he keeps improving his lower range stuff, it's all quite good when he does utilize it.
