I love Wu-Tang Clan and I love most of this album, it has sounds I didn't even know I wanted to hear and these songs sound like candy to me.
I'm a fan of hip-hop and I think this album is not 100% hip-hop, you're not a hipster or a trend-follower for liking this, it's altogether an abrasive, catchy, and forward-thinking album that is a lot of fun to hear.

Don't know if this has been said but nothing really wrong with short length of the review, though I could certainly see users attacking the author for length much more if he was new rather than the so highly respected staff. Regardless, I will say that "music for non hip hop fans" bit is accurate as one of my closest friends who listens almost exclusively to rap hates this, though I, who hardly listens to rap, enjoys this quite a bit. I feel like it almost has more of an aesthetic quality akin to punk or noise than your standard hip hop or rap. So in that respect I can see it appealing more to non rap fans. And this also didn't have the lasting power I initially thought it would, still fun on occasion though.

Perhaps I worded it poorly, or maybe I'm just ignorant. I only meant that it seems to strive off of the messy, raunchy, loud aspect similar to groups like Hella or Lightning Bolt. Though maybe you might care to elaborate on what noise is, instead of just saying I don't know what it is.
