dunno if it's the best song ever, but it's Devy's best for sure. So shivering.

This album has actually gotten worse for me over time due to some overwhelmingly average lyrics, but it's musical genius is still undeniable. The first few spins of this album lead me to believe it was worthy of a 5 but now I'm feeling more of a 4. "Bastard" is one of the best songs ever imo.

every dev album had mediocre to terrible lyrics...it's what makes hime just a great artist rather than a real "genius"...that said, end of this album is brilliance, and when he does have acceptable lyrics (ie death of music), i love him...

I always thought his lyrics were great. They are straight to the point but he still adds enough of his own terminology to it without sounding pretentious. And they are brutally honest.

Whoa, tons of guests on Deconstruction. But I dunno, I was checking out the studio vids a while back and wasn't digging the orchestra bits.

Ya I'm kind of on the fence over it as well, but I didn't like the studio vids for Ki or Addicted and they both ruled. I didn't like the vids for ghost either and after hearing a couple songs I'm very excited.

True, I suppose I'll just have to wait until I hear the album

I'm sure he will release a song from it soon and then we can hopefully breath a sigh of relief.

Now if he'd only gotten Jacob Bannon to guest the album, that would had totally made it for KILL.
Jokes aside, I wonder what kind of vocals Masvidal is going to contribute.. Most likely his normal clean voice, although vocoder would rule too.
