Following the impressive revelation that was her acoustic EP, singer-songwriter Lights does another 180 degree turn & incorporates dubstep influences on 2nd LP 'Siberia'. Teaming up with fellow Canadians Holy Fuck on production, the icy vibe created here very much reminds of Robyn. Also containing a couple of featured raps from Shad, some genuine boundary pushing produces mixed results, but ultimately delivers enough winners to get the job done. It's just a shame that 14 minutes was practically wasted on the final duo, stretching the album out to an overlong 57 minute duration. Recommended Tracks: Toes, Siberia, Timing Is Everything & Peace Sign.
