"maybe you should just wear a shirt that has aids in huge letters so everyone will run away from you"
haha i wish. the shirt i wore today has six-step instructions for how to roll a joint on the front of it (hipsters, you will have seen this at Urban Outfitters). needless to say, i wont be wearing it at the orphanage.

Yeah. Some parts of the album really bored me, the other ones were phenomenal, but I've already heard this before on King Crimson records.

3.5 from me as well

Yeah I agree with you, Greg. Some sections of the songs I'm digging the most sound too deja-vu. From the start, the first segment of Sectarian directly reminds me too much of ''Knights'' by Peter Banks (Yes'former guitarist). I've noticed some other derivative sections here or there. Unidentified yet.

I feel like I can rate this without hearing it. I won't (obviously) but I just know this is a 3.5

Sectarian recalls the title track off Red for me. In fact, I assume if I didn't hear Red and Starless and the Bible Black, I'd be more appreciative towards this album.

Breaking up the 3.5 party with a low 4 here

Sectarian is still more like Peter Banks' ''Knights'' for me (sorry, Peter, haha). As for King Crimson, Steven Wilson and his Porcupine Tree depend a lot on them. Ties, I think 4 is still legit.

i mean it's not a 5 but giving it a 3.5 means you think it's on par with the incident

After the first couple listens I thought it was a 3.5-4. Now sitting pretty steady between a 4-4.5. Definitely not a 5 though.

This alone is reason enough to rate this a 4.
