idk the instruments are way more interesting on this than Somewhere. the vocalist and everyone else are actually working N*SYNC. on Somewhere it seems like they were competing some of the time

this is just getting better with each listen. so many memorable lyrics that get stuck in my head too.

Although shit fits together on this album, I don't really see how people can say the instrumentation is more interesting on here..I mean Somewhere had so many more catchy and melodic sections in one song than this whole album..
This album is based more on the intricacies and letting the story be in the forefront in my opinion.

Just got this. Will probably give it time tomorrow when I get some free time.

i dunno, a huge chunk of Somewhere blends together for me. these songs feel more distinct, with a couple exceptions.

it's the opposite for me, they're all boring and run together
I saw em last night. met jordan, and had a good time. they played a Departure, a Letter, and You and I in Unison off of this

Strange choices to play live, if they were coming here I would love to hear them play Harder Harmonies, Edit Your Hometown, and The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit. Too bad they aren't coming here in the foreseeable future.

woah I'd be pissed if I saw them and they only played those new songs live Rev (but you don't like this album so probably don't curr)
I'd be rioting if they didn't play King Park/Ed Benz back to back

I dont get the love for king park. its cool and all but not top 3 off the album and certainly not soty material. That awkward transition at around 5:20 is so abrupt (probably intentional but still feels forced) and the part near the middle where the music starts to gain some momentum... then he yells 'AND DOING HOMEWORK!!!?' and it's just such a wasted opportunity.
albums great tho, 4 listens so far and still look forward to the next
