Yes, I agree that Unexpect are kind of supposed to be all over the place. That's what makes the music so interesting.

Letting loose instrumentally is the point of some kinds of music. As long as it sounds good when they do it, and they can tie it into a coherent song, I don't have a problem with it

yeah i could create a band whose point was to play music that was just farts. you could go around telling people it was good music because that was the "point" but it wouldnt change the fact that youre listening to farts
