I may be the only one who feels this, I find that "System of a down" and "Steal this album!" was their best, because in Toxicity, they just repeat the lyrics over and over again in each song. And for "mezmorize" and "hypnotize" I thought that Serg didnt get enough vocal time.

some of it's good. I think Daron's a better backing vocalist than lead. And Lonley Day is good musically, but the lyrics are kinda retarded. "The most lonliest day of my life"

I heard some S.O.A.D songs and they are decent. Some kids at my school are stupid and think they are metal.

Some of the band members of SOAD started out in prog bands, but they decided the song lengths were a little too much, so when they actually formed SOAD they condensed all the style changes into a normal 2-4 minute song format. What a nifty idea!

Yah I guess you're right. I am comparing them to the stuff I listen to. About the only rock band I listen to is CKY the other stuff is a whole lot heavier(Slipknot, COB). I'm still a little undecided on the issue. What is prog metal any ways?
