=/ Yeah, I highly disagree with that.
Some of the greatest poets have some form of abstraction, Keats, Yeats, Longley to name a few.

And I respect your opinion. There really isn't anything left here to discuss.

The Cascades is pretty much the most breathtaking thing I have heard in a long time

Me too. It's far more interesting when I have to use my imagination to bring the whole story of a song
together and actually think about the terminology, phrasing and metaphors.

In fact; lyrical complexity should be applauded. It keeps the songs alive long after they've been
listened to. And then the music on this is so well layered too. I always find a slight distinction
popping up with every listen.

The word I find to describe the album is 'mature'. I don't know why that is...that's just the word I come up with.

This is good, but the charm wears off pretty fast. I don't even have the urge to put it on anymore these days.

I think Robin Pecknold said he wanted to go less 'indie rock' on this album and more of an actual folk
record. I think that's why there are less electric guitars on this and an overall softer sound.

I think this is going to be my number 1 this year sniper01. =) With Wild Beasts' Smother a close
second.

I listen to this once every day, at least. I love it.

I agree. Such a terrific album. I can't wait to hear them live, if I ever get to.

That stinks. So unfair too, that they charge more than other clubs.
