my brother saw them like halloween 98 and they played all in the family onstage with limp bizkit, but they were too drunk and gave up and started smashing shit(some of this is on the family values tape). korn also came out dressed like twisted sister and played we're not gonna take it, and rammstein got arrested after one song(the one where he goes rammstein over and over)

Depends on the album. BUT don't trust my criteria on nu-metal since I'm more easygoing than some users on this page. First 2 albums are fine. Planets is a take it or leave it album. The last one I didn't even try to listen. The band was fucked up the moment they kicked out the original singer for a second time...

iirc orgy got put on the family values 98 tour cuz the guitarist/cofounder(not jay) was in jonathans pre-korn band 'Sexart"(blegh). Likewise the original adema vocalist was JDs lil bro or someshit. that family values 98 vhs is a fuckin gem tho



Never seen the tour BUT, I think it was the moment nu-metal congregated into a single place. With some excepctions of course....

Yeah I'd probably wake up to the "WHAT THE FUCK" scream every single fucking day.

Love the dynamic turns in Seed. Definitely some peak Korn songwriting inside this record

Their early stuff is hit or miss ("Immortal" is one of the best nu-metal songs ever though), but Planets is actually pretty great, imo. I'm not sure what got into Tim on that album, but his guitar playing is really inspired there.

when they did rammstein he had a steel firejacket on, at the end of the song he threw off the jacket and was naked/had the dildo attached to his leg, so the cops immediately rushed the stage and arrested him, soo yeh it was related to buch dich
