Gotta start to wonder if you're trolling here.

If he likes the brostep stuff that's fine, it'd just be cool if people who enjoyed that stuff were, at the very least aware, of where the genre started, and weren't so fucking stupid as to convince themselves that the artists who have spent years building up the genre aren't actually making dubstep

When he said that did he pronounce "this" as "dis"?
Unicorn Kid is okay, pretty typical brostep meets electro crossover. Play him this, original dubstep:

Dev do you like Rumours more than The Lie as far as OG dubstep from Zomby goes? I originally liked Rumours more, and still love its awesome bassy groove. But I love that reverb-y quick vocal simple in The Lie enough for me to like that song a bit more now.

I think all Burial should be listened to on good speakers. Good headphones are prob fine but on good speakers burial just sounds like it's filling up the entire room. I've got this on vinyl and a pretty good system and when I spin that it's just unbelievable. The music just sounds so damn thick if that makes any sense.

"Sound-wise this seems to be almost identical to Kindred on first listen."
Everything on Kindred is way more monumental to me, way more layered with big percussion and
overwhelming melodies. This is a lot more stripped down, especially the 2nd two tracks. I love both
styles though and I like having both to listen to.

I made that comment after I listened to each once. Since then Kindred has gotten many more plays while this is still at one...
