"Pamphleteer has always been perhaps my favourite on here - though, it's one of the ones where I don't think I've quite worked out every lyric, or put a self-meaning to it. Only in that semi-chorus, mind - 'I am your Pamphleteer' - any guesses?"
It's pretty straightforward - the speaker is a pamphleteer, a guy who probably spends most of his time writing out Spartacist pamphlets that no one reads. The song is about a past love of his, so "I am your Pamphleteer" is just him saying he's hers.

Haha I deserve no credit. I’ve just been hopping from one recommendation to another. In this case, a Death Cab thread praised these guys so here I am.

So fucking good. Should I backtrack to Fallow, or plow forward on to Reconstruction Site?

If you like the rockier songs on this record definitely check Fallow. But jumping straight to Reconstruction Site is a good move too as it's a top 3 album of all-time. There isn't much in existence that's better than that album.

Cool man, thanks. Think I’ll go to Fallow, then spend some more time with this and plow forward.

Damn, I might have to 5 this. Got derailed with some other things, but jumping back in on this, it’s even better than before. Really looking forward to RS.

Yeah, Pamphleteer is gorgeous. There is a Fire Door is a stone-cold classic too. Exiles Among You is also one of the most powerful indie-rock songs ever conceived.
