Yeah, I probably wouldn't rec this album to you if you like their mellower side more since the ballads were a disappointment here.
I'd recommend listening to the last track, Words Darker Than Their Wings. Kennedy has a great high note at the end. It's the best softer song on here. (not really soft but balladish)
