Damn, I just cannot get into this guy's voice. Why is he so obsessed with James Hetfield?

He's pretty irritating

It's a shame cos I largely dig the music and with a less yarly vocalist this could have been special.

i dont get people who lump this band in with like Five Finger Death Punch, some metalheads may not like Volbeat for being ''commercial'' but I mean, comparing them to FFDP is insulting.

with FFDP i'm always thinking that the singer is either going to a) start bawling his eyes out from emotional turmoil or b) lash out like a child and threaten to beat someones ass.

He reminds me a lot of Fred Durst, actually.

Just saw these guys open for ghost. Is identity crisis part of their identity?

They were in Milwaukee last night too. Not bad. Some of the new stuff is pretty heavy

This is good

Not terribly into the vocals, something about them feels a bit artificial but the riffs are there and I do enjoy the wholesome energy the album as a whole exudes.
