All I Want doesn't appeal to me much on an intellectual level, I mean it's nothing to write home about compositionally and is basically just Heroes and All My Friends mashed together, as has been said.
But I listen to that track with my heart, not my head. On an emotional level, it is easily in my top 5 LCD tracks. James's vocals have so much goddamn pathos, especially in the "take me hooooome" section. Gets me in the gut, man

I mean the best music usually makes you think AND feel, but not necessarily. Austra's album "Feel It Break" is like a 3.0 to a 3.5 in terms of being interesting, complex music... but a 100/5 when it comes to the emotions it stirs up in me. I would rate it higher than a 5.0 if I could.

This is one of those albums that brings me down as much as it lifts me up. Less than stellar times these were but at least the music was good
