worst bodom album gotta say it. Bad lyrics and worse riffs

Pretty much the entire genre of Power Metal has bad lyrics.

Bodom aren't power metal though. They're black metal. And black metal usually has lyrics involving death by scythe. Power metal is more about rescuing a princess after slaying a dragon.

The lyrics aren't that much like Power Metal, but the music definitely is.

Would you care to elaborate, or do you prefer to continue pretending that you know my taste in music better than I do?



Quite frankly, I don't care what you or anyone else thinks of this album. I wrote the review to reflect on how I perceive it, and if it strikes me as good music, then I'll speak highly of it. I don't know where you get off claiming that my view on this is invalid. Maybe your opinion really is so meaningful and all-knowing so as to negate the potential conflict among others of vaguely similar interests. But until the day comes that you can get inside my head, know everything that I truly think and feel about this album, and make accurate comparisons based on factual information buried deep within my subconscious, I'll thank you to allow me to have my own opinion without the annoying speculations of the painfully clueless and arrogant.

Very good album. I love all of the tracks except for "next in line" (still a great listen) and punch me I bleed which i think is the worst bodom song so far. 3rd best album so far imo.

I think that's one of the worst songs on the album. It's just a worse version of Angels Don't Kill.

Exactly Thor, I loved Angels Don't Kill, one of my fav's off of HCDR. But every time i listen to punch me I bleed I feel like its like a bad version of Angels dont kill. I dont hate it, but its not up to par. If they have another album, I think they need to stay away from these "balad" type songs b/c they will never top Angels dont kill. what really should have been pointed out is that Alexi's voice is a bit more understandable now

this band definitely slowed themselves down and worked on integrating all their sounds together on this album. a great work from CoB, but not necessarily up to par with some of their other albums, although there are songs, like "Are you dead yet," and "in your face" that are amazing.

i agree, are you dead yet? is a sick song, along with in your face. i thouroughly enjoyed this album.

AYDY? (song) and In Your Face dont touch T,L&S and We're Not Gonna Fall, and this album cant touch FTR HB or HCDR. Everything of theirs is great though.

Well, I love Alexi Laiho as a guitarist. Trashed, Lost and Strungout is a great song. Keyboard is pretty freakin sweet. thats really all I have good to say about this one. not a bad record.
