Often enough, yeah. Think that's part of why I don't sputnik as often as I used to.

Has always been tough, I gave up deciding since both rule.

Relax Nag, Sputnik wouldn't be Sputnik if it was a 100% serious site

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not getting worked up about it or anything, just stating a fact.

Fair enough. They both have had a massive impact on music for the better either way.

Sputnik's fave sports:

1) Ranking albums
2) Ranking songs in albums
3) Arguing about which band is/was better in x or y subgenre
4) Arguing about other stuff

Listening to these classic hard rock bands is getting me interested in doing a bit of backtracking. I should revisit Cream and The Doors, and maybe check other 60's artists that might've inspired the Unholy Trinity to incorporate blues in their sound.

Never being a big fan of Clapton, but The Doors are gods

If you want a good example of when did the 60's became the 70's, listen to this:

Sweet man, will check when I have the time. That prog tourney isn't over yet, and I have to make room if the need arises to listen to any of those albums.

They would've being my choice for the tourney, but they're more heavy-psychedelic than prog and I

couldn't leave Los Jaivas behind

On "Lazy" now.

Fantastic track, def one of their best on here.

It might've inspired Rush to write YYZ.

Bass work is sweet on here, although Glover didn't quite groove as hard as JPJ or Butler.
