Saw them in '97 and the energy was absolutely mental. They were obviously out their minds on sniff looking back but bloody hell did they rock.

I always remember Keith sneering to the crowd calling us cunts mimicking cracking our skulls open and eating our brains. Jesus.

But Iggy Azalea is changing the landscape of music forever Zak, pull your head out of the 90's and see mainstream music is at its best

Seriously though we need some sort of massive musical movement to come along and sweep the shite away

I'll wait for it to happen and in the meantime I'll listen to all the good music from the 70s to the 2000s

I'm going to sound like a total personality disorder loon when I say this but do you 'get' where peoples heads were at when you blast 70s punk or 60s psychedelia or 90s alt etc? Can you feel the vibe?

Yeah man, it feels like there's real passion behind the music. When I was listening to Station To Station yesterday I was thinking to myself "the fact that Bowie was coked off his head and yet made such a powerful album shows the effort that went into music back then". So much stuff now just seems half arsed.

Bowie is a great example. The excitement that flows through Ziggy is palpable. I don't know if things are half arsed nowadays it's just back in the day people had fuck all else so they literally gave their lives to 'it'
