the latter half of surripere used to be what held this back (slightly) for me as well, but now it's my fav album of all time. first part of surripere is still the best thing ever though

I would say that quaristice is their "weirdest" album. A lot of the sound design from the quaristice sessions is so out of this world, even by autechre's standards.
