can't get into the chorus, maybe the high note? he goes for some big notes on that album. but the riff was fun to play. yeah Priceless is a perfect example.
jamming this now - big nostalgia. still pretty sweet.

I agree that his voice can be a little off every so often. It was never enough to really bother me, though.
So, what do you guys think of the newest one then? I don't think I have seen anybody mention it at all so far, lol.

Just a Phase...

The standout tracks were Echoes and the final track for me. Just A Phase had some pretty great vocalizing though.

I love that clean guitar arpeggio. Plus, the way it keeps building, but not giving you a climax until close to the end is just done fantastically.
Agreed, Echoes and Aqueous rule.

Yea they ruled. Some pretty unique instrumentation on Aqueous.

Yeah, just checking more Incubus out. I can put it on hold and listen to it instead.
Cloudkickering it up? Heck yeah, buddy! All of his LPs are worth a listen. Haven't gotten to the EPs yet, but I have heard/read good things.
Check out the title track to Let Yourself Be Huge if you got 5 minutes. I think it's one of the best things he has written.

Whoa that was beautiful. Better than anything off The Discovery imo

I was floored by that track the first time I heard it. It still gives me chills every time it comes on.
Discover is fun. Probably his most aggressive outing. I still love Beacons the most, but I have also heard it more than the rest since it was the first thing I got by him.

The Discovery is pretty repetitive but not the bad kind of repetitive. I gotta try out Beacons again I've only heard it once. One of my best friends actually introduced me to him.

To the actual guy or his music?
Well, he has a math rock (I think that's what this is considered anyway) style to him, and he builds a lot using the same idea, but adding layer after layer onto it before he moves onto something new.
Btw, the title track on this GIAA album is pretty glorious.

Right dude? Glad you like it. Suicide By Star and When Everything Dies are unreal.
