I've always thought that Jay only had three albums worthy of note anyway

I think this is his only noteworthy album, but holy crap is it good. I would probably put it in my top 3 hip hop albums.

Easily in my top 10 without thinking about it. As far as Jay's whole career goes this is the one!

Blueprint and Black album are damn good as well.

It was sort of a comeback album for Jay, especially after vol 1-3. I think it played a role in how folks view it.

I ain't going to compare BP with Reasonable Doubt or anything, but I can safely say it's his second best. It's consistent as hell without dipping in quality full spin.. not sure how I can fully defend it here, but give it another chance man.

Blueprint is amazing. had some of his biggest anthems like Izzo, one of the greatest diss tracks in The Takeover (tho it was upstaged lel) and some dope ass tracks like Renegade

one of the best records of the 00's...even tho i personally like Black Album more

this was the album that got me to really go out and try and explore hip hop. lol i heard it like 5 days after trying weed for the first time at 13. wikipedia'd Jay Z and wondered why everyone liked his first album so much so i was curious. DONT SMOKE WEED KIDS, YOU MIGHT JUST FIND GOOD HIP HOP
