yeah prog as a genre tag is so dumb.

i like some of PT's psychadelic stuff. like Sky Moves Sideways is amazing,
and yknow, certain songs are incredible. the incident was ugh though

i actually meant that i think it's really stretching it to call this prog

prog is kinda boring

It doesn't have to be:

Thought Industry - Songs for Insects

Thought Industry - Mods Carve the Pig

Voivod - Dimension: Hatross

Anacrusis - Manic Impressions

Cynic - Focus

Atheist - Unquestionable Presence

Also, this is better than any of their other albums.

D00D YOU GOT TO GET TO THE DRUM SOLO IT MAKES EVERYTHING WORTH IT HE GOES BABADBADBDBDADBADBADBDADBADBADBADAD

DBADSBSANANAPNANSPANDNABDODODOBDABDA

ADAFDADFAJWEHAWHAMITBAMMITYBOOPBOPBOOPITYBOP

DOOWOPSLAMITYWHAMBAMKAZAM

mods carve the pig is not at all prog... more like.. weird... somethin. not prog.

songs for insects is okay but lends itself to wankery at times and the production is rather grating

and i've always found voivod boring

cynic not prog at all tech death tech death tech death

atheist is tech death

no way man i can't call this metalcore at all. they ditched metalcore way back at TSC. that was the last album where you could really call it metalcore.

technical metal maybe? idk. i don't wanna call it prog either because if this is progressing the genre we're all fuckt
