Jeebus. Oh well, it's up there for me, top 4.

Lamb is pretty far away from anything Genesis ever did imo, so yeah :D

SEBTP is one of my favourite albums ever. It has sentimental value though, so that may be why.

SEBTP is amazing, I just find this and Lamb to be more consistent.

It's flawless for me, whereas the Lamb isn't. But it's all opinions :-)

This, Lamb, SEBTP and Nursery Cryme are their essentials.

Just stick with them for now. Then Trick of the Tail, Trespass and Wind & Wuthering are worth a check

The Lamb is far more consistent and well balanced that Selling England imo, which is quite impressive given that it's double the length.

Yeah what Pleb said. A Trick of the Tale, Wind & Wuthering and Trespass are also worth checking out but the Gabriel/Hackett era albums (the 4 that Pleb said) are the essentials.

I'm DLing it all now so I'll probably just get everything from Trespass to Wuthering judging by the Sput ratings, maybe Duke as well because that has a decent avg

Thanks dudes

The Lamb is definitely not a starting point. It's tied best Genesis, but it takes countless listens for it to gel. Start with this, nursery cryme, SEBTP then take on the monster that is The Lamb.

Damn I'm conflicted now

Might be a good idea to tackle the shorter ones first though so I'll probs go with Selling England cheers

I've heard nothing but good things about Gabriel's vocals, so sweet

Yeah that's a good point, The Lamb is a lot harder to get into, especially the second disc.

It's so rewarding though and if it weren't for my bias and SEBTP being associated with my old man, I'd probably say the lamb is better lol.
