Yeah, a lot of the older fans have been falling off ever since Decemberunderground pretty much overhauled their fanbase with fifteen year old scene kids.

Yeah, DU was just unfortunate in that it coincided with the rise in popularity of scene kids, really. I still enjoy all their releases, depending on my mood - I think it's to their advantage that they change their sound so much.



I'll probably get more AFI-related tattoos, haha. They're always going to be special to me since they got me interested in alternative music.

I think band tattoos can be kind of lame when it's just the band's name. I like mine because its meaning isn't necessarily specific to AFI, but AFI fans will definitely recognize it.

Indeed, to me that's the part of the point of band tattoo's; you have to put yourself into them and such. I think mine's going to be my first visible piece, but I've been considering it for almost a year and have yet to actually go for it yet.



This album hit me when I was courting (yeah, you heard me) my first and only real soon-to-be girlfriend so it has a lot of great memories/emotions/themes woven into it.

Yeah, no one should be getting band tattoos if that band (or some release of theirs) isn't really damn personal to you. You don't want to end up with a tattoo of a band you used to like in high school but don't anymore. Shit, if I had gotten a Dimmu Borgir tattoo since I liked them a lot when I was fifteen... HAHAHA.

Yeah, she had his flaming heart, the broken hearts behind her ears, and a few others. She also cut/highlighted her hair to look like him and had the same plugs.

Now, if that isn't creepy enough, her girlfriend would dress up like Jade and they would make-out at shows...

I'm pretty sure she's the reason Davey refused to show himself after the London show, because, according to some fans I was talking to, he's met her previously and he looked very uncomfortable (for obvious reasons).

Some fans just take it too far...

Wow, that's quite a story! Makes me want to see them live even more so, though it's sad that I've missed out on their past shows. He's already known to be hard to catch occasionally so that definitely sounds like it sucked.
