Joe Lynn Turner recently said that a reunion with Blackmore under the Rainbow moniker is due sometime this year so I'm very eager to see how that goes.

If it was with Graham Bonnet or Doogie White I'd be interested but JLT... Neeh

I severely doubt it will come anywhere close to the Dio Years though.

It certainly won't. On one hand it smells like a cash grab and I really don't like the idea of a Rainbow reunion with JLT. But on the other hand, I have faith on Blackmore not tarnishing his legacy. Doogie would be an excellent choice though and Rainbow's last album showed that the old man can rock.

If this deal materializes, Blackmore will rock again. When was the last time he did ? early 90's ?

So it seems that Blackmore has been "banned" by the band from attending the HoF ceremony. Same old Deep Purple story; 70 year old babies disrespecting the name of the band and their fans who have been following them like idiots by spending their hard earned money. Fools...

Maybe so but banning someone is ridiculous, if that's what happened. I guess the other guys will issue a statement at some point and we'll hear their side. But this is typical Deep Purple once again. They're disrespecting their fans and themselves.
