^ If it's not, then Sugar Coated Sour and 43% Burnt are the best 2 metalcore album opening songs.

I enjoyed this but I just can't stand the singer. He sounds just like every decent post-hardcore vocalist, just a bit angrier. Instrumentation was great and I liked how this had even some atmosphere at times (rare for the genre), but the vocals keeps me away from really digging this.
This was still a positive surprise tho, thought that this would be just average mathcore.

Why is this review so highly rated? It has typos and is just bad in general.

This album is mad, but I guess that's the intention that DEP had when making this record. The wild-eyed intensity never really ends until the very last seconds of 'Variations on a Cocktail Dress'. What a great way to start the career of a very good band indeed.

I love the ambient space track that features mostly just Pennie drumming.
