As generally as I can put it, Rap is an undeveloped, detestial genre of absolute erroneous sound
Fuck you're stupid. Seriously.

I really have a hard time blaming ignorant people like that though, because if you listen to the radio and watch MTV, his claims have some value to them. Of coarse, those of us older than these teenagers know how hip-hop used to be and how some underground rappers keep it as, as music in every artistic sense of the word. As poetry and as a culture all on its own. Real hip-hop > most things in life

Real hip hop? You can't deny some commercialized hip hop is good stuff. I do agree though, the best is the more underground stuff such as Deltron, and cLOUDDEAD, which you should check out, a 5/5.

i still lol'd when he said hip hop was about being catchy

Deltron and cLOUDDEAD are both pretty bad starting blocks for good hip-hop honestly. But yeah i own records from both artists

Deltron are quite good. If commercial hip hop doesnt have annoying autotuning i can sort of enjoy it.
|
| |
Except they're pretty much the two best artists within their genre. For someone more familiarized with mainstream stuff it wouldn't be as accessible.

most debatable comment ever
|
| |
Well, it's my opinion. Honestly though, I can't think of an artist better at the moment.
|
| |
at least you share my perspective, john. I could understand why most people would, but if they just take the time to listen to it they would realize how good it is.
|

they arent the two best by any means at all. there are dozens of better hip-hop artists. Deltron and clouddead have both just made one classic to near classic albums each. the rest of their discography is just decent at best.

tell me forever, who do you think is the greatest hip-hop artist?
|
| |
lil jon and the eastside boyz what kind of question is that
|

One classic, one superb. I don't look at their entire discography, I mean, cLOUDDEAD have two albums, so. Besides, with hip hop artists the more albums they have the greater chance you will dislike them. Exact case with Em. It's just more to hate.

tell me forever, who do you think is the greatest hip-hop artist? the most difficult question you could ever ask me haha. i could think of 10 artists/groups that are at least close to what i think would be the best in the game, but coming up with just one as the best is nearly impossible for me.
