It's just too upbeat, and every song has the same damn melody to it.

Alright I haven't followed this forum up to this point, & I'm not sure what the majority is of people that love or hate this band: But I can tell you what I personally think & you may or may not like it, but I don't really care.

First of all, this band isn't great nor talented. I find it actually disappointing that capable human beings would actually think this is good music, & I'll give you the reasons why.

I'm not a musical genius, & I'm not a guru on it either but It doesn't take Beethoven to know that this bullshit isn't music. I'm 22 now, & I personally know enough about the art of music to be able to tell what type of music is complicated, what type of music requires talent, & which types of music are hard to create.

It's impossible to say what "good" or "bad" music is, but I do know that it's simple to judge music based off of other existing music.

I understand that music is extremely diverse & difficult to critique, however I also understand it as a skill & apply it to what catches my musical tastes.

If you're in a hardcore band & don't go above & beyond other hardcore bands, whats the point? If you're in an indie band based primarily on complex lyrics & don't make complex lyrics, whats the point?

MY point is: If you're going to claim to be a lion, don't act like a kitten. If you're going to claim to be a hamster, don't act like a rabid coyote.

It really boils down to creativity. In todays world it's nearly impossible to obtain originality without blending genres & mediums of entertainment.

I don't understand how there were bands 6 years ago that played good, original versions of this type of music & why these wastes of life get any attention from anyone.

Worthless unskilled copycat bands like this really get on my nerves.

Sadly, The only thing that puts money in their pockets are stupid people with ignorant, premature music tastes. These people are unable to say "That riff requires no skill" or, "His vocals sound like a beaten gopher" because they haven't been introduced to real talent or originality.

On top of that, have you guys seen the messed up e-mails between ADTR & some dude in florida? Something about their bassist saying a bunch of messed up shit to an underage girl. I don't really understand why he's playing music for little girls when he obviously shouldn't be around them, but that's besides the point.

It seems to me the only people that like ADTR are stupid little girls & grown men who want something in common with those girls.

It's the only reason I can see why someone would like this band other than complete stupidity.

saw the deluxe re release of this in FYE the other day for $9.99. I had a gift card so i bought it for shits and giggles. The dvd is pretty interesting i guess.... the singer's a massive douche though, and they suck cock live.

See this guy knows whats up. Calls it likes he sees it. That's what I like to see. Keep being smart. I hate when people are blinded from some false glorification given by a label. Truth these days is a breath of fresh air.

If it were your top 10 of 02 I might possibly understand, but they're wayyy behind if you ask me. Broaden your musical horizons & these guys will seem like the tip of the iceberg of music to you. I wouldn't classify this as original nor would I classify it as being musically difficult in any way. I've heard pop bands with tastier riffs than these guys, & they claim hardcore/pop-punk? I just don't get it. If we're crazy then I don't want to be sane. You gotta bring it. It's 2010 mothafuckaaaa!

My musical taste is large... and I dont listen to a lot of "pop" let alone pop punk.
I also admit they'r not super talented nor creative. NOthing Genius..
But thas why its one of my fav's becuz its nothing serious nor complex, at times I feel like an idiot for likin this but sometimes I jus wna chill and rock out to somethin simple, energetic, catchy and fun.
Blast something while Im driving or partying cuz most ppl can enjoy it with me. Its not too hardcore nor too poppy.

NOt payin so much attention to the complexity of riffs, production and song writing etc..
which is a lot of ppl are doing 100% of the time, judging the difficulty of theese songs. Thas why they hate more music than they enjoy.

thas what "pop" is... simple mindless music that plays in your head over and over. Aaand thas why it sells.
I listen to this record cuz I simply "enjoy" it, I dont worship it..

Nooo, they were pretty generic and bad the whole time.

Especially since they kicked out one of the members for not wearing his 'WWJD' bracelets.
