I don't get how I don't dig most pop punk anymore except nostalgic ones but dig the shit outta this and through with being cool :/

but this album isn't nostalgic for me at all so it doesn't add up.

Seems to be more or less the case with me too. I'd guess it just doesn't appeal to the immature 15 y/o in me though. I mean my favorite song off the album is, after all, about having booze-fueled sex in an alley so yeah. Also love Conley's lyricism, which is typical pop punk thematically but executed way more poetically.

Have you heard In Reverie?

Also, yeah I probably only really like a handful of (true) pop punk albums any more but this one hasn't lost a step. And "This is not an exit" will always be the best song in the genre (followed by Park's "Cover Up" - check it out guys)

I need to revisit this, of the three TBC, SWYA and IR this has always been my least favorite.

"Have you heard In Reverie?"

Yup, but I wasn't a big enough fan musically to pay attention to the lyrics (since it takes quite a few listens for me to really start appreciating the lyrics). It's been a while though so I should re-listen.

The Park song is pretty good though.
