This is more imaginative than 80% of the "extreme" metal that metal fans cream themselves over.

Tool 'Lateralus' maybe? - that was really 'MTV cheesy' in terms of genre

Honestly this thing was immense back in the day. The only people who thought otherwise were wankers who were fucking useless with birds and smelt like wet dog.

Is that some Albini guitars in Straighthate? Thanks to the Godflesh influence I guess.

My main issue with this is that it’s looooooong. Def not the St Anger of the 90’s and not even Sepultura’s worst lmao

Drumming is immense and the nu metal and hardcore/punk influences are woven in well.
Song writing is a little hit and miss - reduce this to 8 tunes and it would have been lean as hell.

I think this album really was a product of its time. I don't vibe with it at all, to be honest.

A solid product of its time tbh

I don't have strong feelings about this album in either direction. But I think everyone should watch the video for Ratamahatta. The aural and visual components mix like benzos and alcohol.
