I was pretty drunk last night but iirc they played the new single and 1 or 2 other new songs that were meh, they played Deep End, Faces, The City Sleeps In Flames, Degenerates, and i thiiink The Only Medicine? They played a lot from this album tho I was happy. Super cool dudes on stage too, lots of banter
Glasslands was cool, kinda like Closure In Moscow but even more proggy, Dead American was really good and I never listened to that stuff before, and I didn't bother staying for DRUGS cuz fuck em

DRUGS is Craig Owens band yeah. A lot of people were there specifically to see Craig Owens. There was even one particularly trashy mom with her 10 year old who said "this lil guy wouldnt even be alive if it wasnt for a Craig Owens show." Some people lol

new song is straight trash. literally the most derivative generic radio cock rock sounding bullshit
I mean this doesn't feel like a progression of their sound in any way shape or form. hell maybe they would've sadly eventually went this route if they hadn't ever broke up, but for them to reunite and put out this feels like a cash grab
not the best comparison but even when underoath came back with erase me it still mostly sounded like them, even if it was a lot more streamlined and mainstream sounding

It"s sad because Loved Forever was an amazing tribute to Tyson. They should have follow this sound.

“but for them to reunite and put out this feels like a cash grab“

I now like the new song somehow. Accidentally listened to it and liked it second time around. Glad i do. This album is just so deserving of a living legacy.
