The transitions are seamless; it takes incredible talent to accomplish what Dan Swano did with Crimson

Crimson II is awesome too, but I love the guitar melodies on here a tad more than the synth-y melodies from II

Agreed with Poet.

Crimson II has the best riff Swanö's ever written with the beginning of Face to Face and his best synth melody comes from this album right before the 38 minute mark lol.
Listening to this one again and I wish the acoustic passage at the beginning of the song lasted longer....ugh it is so good.

Melodic riff in Incantation >>> opening Passage of Time riff >>> Face to Face.

Album Rating: 4.5
The intro to Incantation is pretty sweet, but the Passage of Time riff is bleh. The ending synths/keyboard part is awesome though.
Unless Crimson II has a re-recorded version of Twilight, I think this is a FALSE statement.
Well Twilight is the best non-Crimson song, but Face to Face is like one of my two favorite riffs ever.
