But Heafy isn't bad at what he does. He sure as hell isn't my favourite screamer or anything but he's a great member in the band he's in.

Unfortunately yes, I'm only 3 days in on my 2 week "break"

And he's a much better guitarist than he is a screamer, but his clean vocals aren't horrendously bad

He's definitely got chops for sure, but I also like how even though he's not the best screamer, he doesn't sound like half the mothers out there. He's kinda got this signature scream.

Nah, Jom went and edited the ban to 2 weeks due to my prior ban so from now on it's all serious shit for me

He does have a signature scream, I get you, it sort of reminds me of the screams of From a Second Story Window but a lot throatier

Second Story has a couple of good songs from what I remember, but I definitely feel ya on the throaty-ness.

I don't enjoy being banned very much, so virtuous it is... For now :]

I never really cared for Second Story, the vocals always turned me off somewhat. This band was my favorite for a couple months when this came out

Well, you're definitely doing better than me when I was in grade 11, that's for sure. Although...that was 4 years ago so I can admit I'm a changed man :D

Hahaha my worst period was probably freshman year, I was deep in the metalcore/post-hardcore cesspool until I joined sputnik in sophomore year.. I think my taste has gotten a bit better and more varied since I joined

Definitely wasn't my proud moment either, but I still owe respect to these bands, since they led me to some fantastic bands later on. I still see myself as more of an industrial guy yet I still have no idea how that even started...

Only "industrial" I ever really liked was Nine Inch Nails
