Different strokes for different folks, I guess..
These guys are some of the better metalcore out there at the moment. That's not saying too much though.

Dunno what the fuck Jack is talking about. Karl has a pretty unique voice. Not that you'd know
anything, though. You listen to the most tepid and monotone genres of all time: black metal. Tremolo
picking with monotonous shrieking? C'mon. The sheer irony and hypocrisy is lulz worthy.

enslaved, bathory, emperor, ulver, shining, belenos, agalloch... they've all got singers (who, with the exception of bathroy, are all great singers, mind you) so shut the fuck up before you dig your hole any deeper

Ollie, that song was good. He can sort of sing, but he still can't scream worth shit.
Also, this:
monotonous shrieking? C'mon. The sheer irony and hypocrisy is lulz worthy.
Digging: Decrepit Birth - Diminishing Between Worlds

Dunno what the fuck Jack is talking about. Karl has a pretty unique voice. unique=/=good...ESPECIALLY in this sad caseNot that you'd know
anything, though. You listen to the most tepid and monotone genres of all time: black metal. tepid and monotone you say, first put down the thesaurus, second the only black metal you've heard is probably God Forbid if you think bands like Coldworld, Emperor, Shining, Virgin Black, Taake, or Enslaved are either of those things. Tremolo
picking with monotonous shrieking? C'mon. The sheer irony and hypocrisy is lulz worthy. you liking misery signals is lulz worthy, and again your diction is misplaced

'Weight Of The World' kicks so much tail, just doesn't let up. And great considering it's before Labyrinthian which is all about the build-up to the chorus.

A distinctly mediocre record I think.
The vocals are very samey (more noticeably so than before), and instrumentally, it seems far less inspired and interesting than Mirrors or Of Malice...(both of which are cracking albums)
Not sure what went wrong here, but here's hoping their next effort is more varied, and brings back a bit more dissonance and interesting post-rocky sections like their first two.

Having listened to this a bit more, I find that if I hear a couple of tracks at a time, rather than as a whole, it's actually a lot more enjoyable.
Probably a 3.5 now.

Dude this is just like Mirrors, just a little more softer. A lot of good tracks here especially Reset.

I think that dude's Brokencyde rating has to be a joke... the rest of his ratings really don't align with it (i.e. they're not bad).
I dig Controller, and have no qualms with the vocals. It's friggin' metalcore, c'mon!
